Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) India, in collaboration with Youth Ki Awaaz, presents “Uncharted Voices”, a platform for discussion on issues worthy of our attention. Drawing on MSF’s medical humanitarian work in India and across the world, the series will feature speakers who will shed light on some of the most pressing issues of our times with their experiences, ideas and learnings. 

For the first edition, our focus is on stigma – the fault line running through our work on public health issues ranging from HIV/AIDS to tuberculosis. But where does stigma begin? And how does one unmask it? Four individuals from varied backgrounds will share their experiences to explain why the fear and lack of understanding surrounding a disease can prove to be a great challenge.
