MSF Scientific Days – Asia 2025

MSF Scientific Days – Asia 2025 is a conference to showcase research, innovation, and experiences from treatment and humanitarian programmes across the region. MSF Scientific Days bring together researchers, practitioners, academics, and patient representatives to catalyse improvements in the quality of care provided to patients and populations at risk. The experts in humanitarian global health will come together to discuss and challenge research from within the sector.

 Timing: 9:00 AM IST/ 3:30 AM UTC Onwards

 Location: Galadari Hotel, Colombo

 The conference will also be live-streamed for online audiences.

This year, we will host MSF Scientific Days Asia with the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo (UCFM) as an academic partner and Sarvodaya Shramadana Movement as  community collaborator.

The Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo, established in 1870, is Sri Lanka’s oldest and most prestigious medical school. With over 150 years of excellence, it leads in medical education, research, and community health. The faculty offers top-tier undergraduate and postgraduate programs and clinical training is provided through partnerships with major tertiary hospitals in Colombo.

Sarvodaya Shramadana Movement is Sri Lanka’s largest and most broadly embedded non-governmental community development organization. Its integrated and holistic approach to development based on people’s participation, self-reliance, and self-sustainability has reached over 15,000 underprivileged communities in Sri Lanka.
