For such vacancies, we welcome applicants from across India. We announce these vacancies in local newspapers, the MSF India website and through various other media.

WHO DO WE RECRUIT?

+ Medical Doctors Requirements
1. MBBS degree from an accredited medical school
2. Valid registration from Medical Council of India
Desirable
1. At least 1-2 years of work experience as a medical practitioner in rural setting
2. Training in tropical medicine and/or infectious disease (especially TB; Kala Azar ; HIV/AIDS)
3. Minor surgical and obstetric experience
4. Managerial and supervisory experience

1. Masters Degree in Surgery (MS) from an accredited medical school
2. Valid registration from Medical Council of India
3. Ability to perform general surgery including trauma, and Caesarean sections
4. Ability to work with limited resources
5. Availability for a minimum period of 3 months

+ Anaesthesiologists Requirements
1. Post Graduate degree/diploma (MD/DNB) in Anaesthesiology from an accredited medical school
2. Valid registration from Medical Council of India
3. Experience in paediatrics, obstetrics and trauma anaesthesia
4. Availability for a minimum period of 3 months.
5. Ability to work with limited technical resources
6. Experience in supervising, managing and training of others

+ Obstetrician-Gynaecologist Requirements
1. DGO/MD/DNB in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
2. Valid registration from Medical Council of India
3. Current or recent practical experience
4. Able to perform normal and complicated deliveries.
5. Able to perform emergency obstetrical and gynecological procedures.
6. Experience in supervising, managing and training of others
7. Ability to train and coach other health workers
8. Available to work for a minimum of 12 months

1. Nursing (BSC or General Nursing & Midwifery) from a recognized institute
2. Valid registration by the Nursing Council
3. Minimum 2 years of experience with direct patient care
4. Experience in tropical medicine, infectious diseases (TB ; Nutrition) or public health will be an added advantage
5. Experience in supervising, training and managing others

Role Objectives: Provide quality care to MSF patients according to MSF international standard of good medical practice.
