Who is MSF?

Médecins Sans Frontières is an international organisation made up of 24 associations.

Our running person logo was introduced in 1995. It conveys our essence: we are a medical and humanitarian organisation working in situations of crisis. We all use the same basic logo, but you will find translations of our name across the globe: Doctors Without Borders, Medicos Sin Fronteras, أطباء بلا حدود, 無國界醫生. We’re often just called ‘MSF’.

For more about MSF, see the MSF factsheet, or visit the ‘about MSF’ pages on this site. To use our logo please contact your nearest office.

Interviews, original material, visits

Our local press officers can discuss possibilities for organising interviews with MSF staff working in the field or with spokespeople, and can provide photos, audio and video footage of humanitarian crises. They can also facilitate media visits to our programmes (with some exceptions).

Because our work is often in difficult and insecure environments, we have produced guidelines for journalists.
