Meerut: Breaking the Chains of Hepatitis C
In 2017, MSF started a pilot project to make hepatitis C treatment accessible to patients in a part of India with a large prevalence of the the disease -- Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Hepatitis C is a liver disease, which, if left untreated, can lead to potentially fatal conditions. In the last three years, we were able to demonstrate the effectiveness of a decentralised and simplified Hep C treatment and care model. The MSF project in Meerut is now officially closed, and we have transferred our medical activities to the National Health Mission. Watch this video to learn more about how we worked to break the chains of Hep C, and what we continue to advocate for.

Making a difference in the world
We rely on our dedicated medical and non-medical staff to carry out our lifesaving work across the world. Every now and then, they are able to take some time out and reflect on their experiences, what moved them, and what continues to inspire them.
