When 39-year-old Zoya was referred to MSF’s clinic in Patna, she was diagnosed with fatal kala azar-HIV co-infection. She battled not just these diseases but also the stigma attached to each of them. Zoya shares her story of courage and recovery after being treated for these life threatening diseases.
MSF @ Airtel Delhi Half Marathon
MSF teams and supporters participated in last month’s Airtel Delhi Half Marathon. By wearing costumes representing people who have been ‘killed by greed’, we aimed to raise awareness about the widening gap between essential medicines and those whose lives depend on them.
