MSF begins humanitarian response in
Odisha after Cyclone Fani
On 3rd May, Cyclone Fani made landfall on the coast of Odisha affecting 16.5 million people in 18,388 villages and caused damage to roads, communication networks, houses and public infrastructure in Odisha and neighbouring states. Following the cyclone, MSF sent an emergency response team to Odisha to respond to humanitarian needs in the affected areas.

WHO has released a long-awaited roadmap to reduce death and disability from snakebite envenoming 50% by 2030. This could be a huge turning point in tackling this frightening disease.
